Korong Vale is a Junction station where the Kulwin Line branches off the Robinvale line. An Island Platform, two signal boxes, footbridge coal stage and locomotive shed once featured at this important junction, but the last of the infrastructure was demolished by the 1980s – before Davo got here with his camera. We are lucky that guest contributor John Garland managed to grab a classic shot of a T Class working past the old A Box in 1983.
Les Brown managed to get some photos in the late 60s, and there are some good examples if you scroll down to image nine on this page over on his train pictures page.
