Frankston is the southern extent of the Melbourne electrified system and is the connecting station for the diesel hauled Stony Point service. Photos in the gallery are from 1990, and just prior to the end of locomotive hauled services in 2008.

Yes typo. Due to working through a station up here called Stoney Creek, so it comes off the keyboard in auto when typing similar sounding and regularly used locations.
