Nyora

Nyora is preserved and is the UP terminus of  South Gippsland Tourist Railway operation. Nyora Station was also used as the site of the radio station in the ABC Television series “Something in the Air”.

Nyora was also the junction station for the Wonthaggi line, which operated from 1910 to 1978.

Included in the gallery are two photos of trains on the Bena Bank. The Bena station had long been wiped out, however the Bena Bank was a good place to gunzel. There is also a photo by Frank Jones of nearby Loch, which will reside in this gallery till some more photos come in to justify its own page.

There, more photos of Nyora are at vicrailstations.
