Koo Wee Rup was once the junction station for the Strzlecki Line which opened in 1922. The final remnant of that line, to Bayles, closed in 1959. More recent images can be found at Vicrailstations.

The marker on the map is in the wrong postion. The marker needs to be moved 35mm to the left. The station was West of Rossiter Rd not East. The narrow line running East just below the railway line is where the station used to be. When you sttod on the platform you looked North straight up Moody St.
