Speed once had a typical Victorian Railway portable station building, with like Watchem, had the added roof and verandah added to the original roof. The timber walls were also renewed with cladding, and in 1989 the structure was removed to the Speed field day site for use as their office. Fortunately the gallery contains a couple of photos from prior to its relocation. There are also more recent photos of the site at Vicrail Stations.
