Gunalda

Gunalda was a station on the North Coast Line between Gympie and Theebine. It is here as a request from a member of the QRIG mailing list.

Gunalda station was bypassed by the Gunalda Deviation in 1995. 1995: on 27 Feb the Gunalda Deviation was commissioned; Gunalda station no longer exists (WN 11/95 p24). The 7.9km deviation replaced a 10km long winding alignment with 50km/h and 40km/h curves. The 7.9km deviation replaced a 10km long winding alignment with 50km/h and 40km/h curves.
