Gerogery

Gerogery was the only other long term survivor after the CTC project in the early 1980s. A classic wooden building surviving from the main south’s opening in 1880, it became increasingly vandalized and derelict. Eventually the classic toilet block found it’s way to Culcairn, where it was restored. TheĀ  station however was relocated to Lockhart, in 2003, where the local rural fire service uses it as their office, replacing the large, original and demolished wooden building at this location. Otherwise besides the station nameboard in a nearby park, very little else remains.
