Michelago was opened in December 1887 and was closed in 1989, along with the rest of the line between Queanbeyan and Cooma. Between 1993 and 1997 trains from the ACT division of the ARHS were able to run to Michelago, but deteriorating track condition caused the services to be truncated back to the north over a period of time.
At this stage, we can only offer two photos of Michelago, however Rolf Bozier has done a better job of collecting photos of this location over at his site.
