Moradoo’s original name was Rail Motor Stopping Place Number 15. Geoff Winkler has provided a classic image again of how it was, before the station was upgraded, and the named changed, in the late eighties.

The name of Moradoo, meaning resting place was given to the station as it adjacent to the Crib Point cemetery.
