The terminus of the branch that takes its name from this location. Opened in 1911, and originally spelled “Milmerran” with a single l, it was not until 1914 that the department restored the correct spelling to this location.
One interesting feature of this yard was street running along Gillespie St between the station and the silos south to the of the yard.
