Another Robinvale Line station and this one still survives thanks to a heritage grant that saved the station from demolition. If you compare recent photos at Vicrail Stations with those in our gallery, you’ll note that it looks much better these days than it did 20 years ago.
Trivia: Manangatang was once famous thanks to ex footballer and commentator Lou Richards, who declared that a certain team was playing so poorly, that “they couldn’t beat the Manangatang thirds.”
