Including Didcot and Chowey Bridge
These locations are being combined due to lack of photos to make up a decent sized gallery for each location. In fact we have been rescued by a guest contributor, Rob Stanier, who uploaded some photos of Chowey Bridge and Biggenden on our public upload page.
The Chowey Bridge was constructed in 1905 to cross Deep Creek, when the line was extended towards Monto from Biggenden. It was reportedly constructed very economically by QGR day labour, and is one of only two such bridges built.
The railway reached Biggenden from Maryborough in 1891.
